ECHOES : A restaurant with specially challenged staff

Yesterday I visited this small cafe in satyaniketan (Delhi) called ECHOES. This is like any other small cafe with an unusually amazing initiative. When asked the attendants about the table of our choice, they tried explaining with signs. After seeing the repeated sign language by 2 waiters, things became understood. The staff is differently abled. All of them could not hear or speak.

The staff handed the menu (the ECHOnomics is the backside of it) and a pen-pad on which we can mention the dish code, quantity & any customization.

This switch is near every table. When you need to call to get attanded, you just press it and the bulb of your table number will flash on the counter.

These are the tags which are present in the tissue box. A tag to ask for the bill, to ask for fork/knife, to ask for menu or just a thank you. Simple one liners.

Talking about the place: it's very small.
Area : south campus, opposite venkateshwar college
price : economical
Quantity : very decent . more towards good.
quality : hygienic , good presentation and taste

P.S : This not an act of promoting the cafe but its appreciation. I am not writing because i am asked to or I will get something from them, but because I want to spread the good thought. This is one live example of corporate social responsibility (for students' reference )
